"Not what it once was. TLDR: - Longtime State Farm customer with mostly positive personal interactions. - Friendly, knowledgeable employees but significant issues with pricing and policy management. - Confusing and unprofessional experience with office management and communication. - Ultimately, transparency and consistency issues led to a disappointing experience. I've been with State Farm (specifically Heather Powell) since I got my first car, and I've always been quick to recommend them because of the friendly service I've received over the years. When my grandmother was shopping around for a new insurance provider I told her to give State Farm a try. We headed over to Heather Powell's office. The initial impression was good. A knowledgeable representative handled our concerns, and everything seemed to work smoothly. We were purchasing her a new car so I was surprised how smoothly it went. The employee we spoke to was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable, which is why this is getting 2 stars. However, things started going downhill when my grandmother's old car was being transferred to a new policy holder. Suddenly, the quotes she and my mother received were off by about $40, and the price hike was blamed on the fact that "prices just went up." On top of that, we encountered a mess with invoices and policy details. One car was still showing up on her account, another had disappeared, and it took multiple calls to get any of these issues sorted out. The real turning point came when my grandmother visited the office to make sure these ongoing problems were sorted. She met a lady upfront who, when asked if she was the office manager, denied it. When asked if she was Heather Powell, denied it, only to later claim she was Heather Powell herself. This kind of contradictory and misleading behavior left us questioning the integrity and accountability of the entire office and their staff. Since Heather Powell is the one in charge. In the end, while the friendly attitude of the employees is a plus, the recurring and outright lying and lack of care have really soured my experience. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of transparency from a company and representative I once trusted, which is why I feel I can no longer give them my recommendation. Heather Powell told my grandmother to go find insurance elsewhere if she didn't like how they did things, and I think my grandmother, my mother, and myself will take her advice and start looking."

"10/10 recommend this amazing company. I called at 10 minutes before close to add insurance to a vehicle for my son and Maddie answered and was more than happy to help me. She was so patient with us even though we were on the phone for longer than usual. She was so sweet and stayed on the phone so I could drive to the bank to add money to my account to pay insurance for the new vehicle. Definitely never had customer service this amazing from an insurance company before! Great job and thank you so very much!! ❤️"

"I recently had an unfortunate experience with Heather Powell's State Farm insurance agency. Today, I was assisting my grandfather with getting tags for his vehicle, which required us to call and update his policy. Normally, this is a quick and simple process with my insurance agency, completed within minutes. However, dealing with Heather Powell's office was quite different. They made what should have been a straightforward task seem like a burden. Obtaining the proof of insurance while we were at the revenue office took over an hour, which was extremely frustrating. We were then forced to drive to the local office to ask them to send over the proof of insurance. It was disheartening to have to physically go there to ensure they did their job. Simply asking for a printed piece of paper with the insurance policy information seemed to be the biggest problem. This experience was truly unpleasant, and I strongly advise others to think twice before doing business with Heather Powell at State Farm. My grandfather is now actively seeking another insurance provider that values its customers and provides courteous service."

"Terrible customer service from Raven and in general. There has been numerous discrepancies between the communication I receive from corporate and from this office which has led me to this review (and I never write negative reviews but the experience with this place was terrible). Instead of the office providing any adequate customer service, the excuse ‘that’s not our fault. That’s corporate who billed you/sent you/emailed you that.’ And shouting at me over the phone like you’re the one who should be frustrated after numerous experiences of being told I won’t be billed & then get billed for something, or most recently that my policy was cancelled only to receive a declaration page one week later from the local office saying my policy is active until August 2024? Maybe check in with your office, find out who sent it and apologize for creating more confusion to the customer and I wouldn’t have written this review. And It’s your job to clarify with corporate any discrepancies. Happy I cancelled and went with a local office from Shelter that also saved me money. I have two more policies to open next year and won’t be giving this office any business."

"We had such a wonderful experience with this office. We recently moved from out of state and all of our policies had to be transferred over. They made this process simple and easy. They also assisted us with getting the best homeowners insurance. Today we met with Adrienne and she explained every part of each of our policies. She was very thorough and took the time to explain what all of it meant. I am so happy to be a part of this office. The office itself is also very lovely. The are plush chairs and a sofa as well as a little snack bar complete with coffee and soda."

"Everyone in the office is amazing! Best experience with every team member. Thank You Heather and Team. TLDR; previous company / agent dropped the ball. Heather and her team got us coverage and better prices in a short time period. My insurance agent (some other company:agency) didn't notify me of their company being bought out/changing. Last minute on a Thursday!!! I had to scramble and this was all while dealing with some family medical issues... Asked around. They said call the State Farm on Twin Points... they are amazing! It's true ;) great service and amazing team that helped with everything."

"Horrible experience. Inaccurate quotes, different answers from multiple people within the same office. One hand doesn’t know what the other is doing. Fearful that if I actually need the insurance that I am in capable hands. Not sure if it is just this office or State Farm in general. Staff seems unwilling to allow me to actually speak with owner to make sure she is aware of the level of service and unhappiness that her clients have. Moving to new office to see if they can straighten out and if not then will leave State Farm behind."
